So being able to get together face-to-face has been a welcome change after the endless Zoom chats of 2021 and 2020. A catch up with a great friend from the travel industry has resulted in them coming on board to work with us to help drive forward our plans for the next 12 months. Something we’re very excited about. Being able to sit down without the challenges of technology was refreshing and productive.
Being able to share ideas with peers and networks in person is something we’ve really missed. Bouncing ideas and issues off others is not only be a powerful way to help make decisions (the advantages of connecting in person is definitely something we used to take for granted) but it’s great to be able to do it again.
Another catch up before Christmas with one of our long-term partners Tranquilico, has resulted in us being able to offer our clients increased Global Safety Assessments. Through us, Tour Operators and DMCs can now access over 20,000 completed safety assessments globally. Covering Accommodation, Transport, Aviation, Marine and High-risk Activities, it’s proving to be a cost-effective solution for many of our clients.
Meeting up, talking shop, sharing memories and discussing future plans is a great way to work, and if our start to 2022 is anything to go by, it’s going to be a positive return for many businesses this year.
