Sanderson Phillips has been monitoring the Coronavirus situation very closely since its outbreak. We are attempting to continue to conduct our business wherever possible, however we are mindful that our tour operator clients and the hotels/suppliers they are asking us to audit are all extremely busy assisting in-house guests and dealing with enquiries from future guests who wish to/have to change their plans.
We appreciate that some destinations remain open to visitors from the UK, so we will continue to issue requests for regular re-audits to hotels/suppliers in those countries. For destinations where travel is not currently permitted from the UK, we will continue to request that our self-assessment audits are completed, in order to ensure that when travel restrictions are lifted in the future, the hotels/suppliers are in the best position possible to accept UK guests.
Our covering email wording and procedural timescales have been amended to ensure hotels/suppliers have adequate time to complete our self-assessments and we will aim to be as flexible as possible with our tour operator clients during these unprecedented times of difficulty for the travel industry.
