About Us.
Founded by Graham Phillips in 1997, Sanderson Phillips has been an authority in UK travel safety for more than 25 years. As MD of Silk Cut Travel in the 1980’s, Graham identified the need for smaller operators to be able to manage their health and safety obligations at an affordable price and from here, Sanderson Phillips was born.
In 2011 Graham was joined by Aimée Atkin as the business grew and in 2016, current Managing Director, David Atkin came onboard. Husband and wife team David and Aimée acquired the business in 2019 and are now supported by five freelance consultants.
Since taking ownership, David & Aimée have implemented a bespoke online data management system which they continue to develop; and have grown the company to offer more services, working with a broader range of travel organisations including Destination Management Companies, event organisers and hotel brands.
